Adam Aebischer

Continuing an 81-year tradition of an Aebischer serving customers from behind a jewelry display case, Adam Aebischer has joined the family business.  The son of owners Doug and Karen Aebischer, Adam represents the 4^th generation of the family to be part of the store’s operation, and his parents couldn’t be happier.

Since coming on board Adam has gravitated naturally to the repair side of the business.  “I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands and understanding how things work,” says Adam. Adam has been working closely with his father and the store’s repair specialist, Betty Jo Christy.  “You couldn’t ask for two better mentors,” states Adam.

This June, Adam completed two courses for bench jewelers at the New Approach School for Jewelers in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He was awarded two diplomas, one for Bench Jeweler Comprehensive and Stone Setting Comprehensive. These classes really enhanced the natural skills Adam already posses and gave him a deeper sense of confidence with his work as well as enabling him to better explain repairs and stone setting to our customers.
